The attribution of modules to a semester is no more than a recommendation. If you respect the prerequisites for some modules, you can absolve the curriculum in your own order.

* Students who study Economics in combination with Informatics choose an additional elective module with 5 ECTS credits instead of attending Business Informatics.
Requirements for specific modules
- For participating in the proseminar in Economics, the modules Microeconomics and Macroeconomics must be passed.
- For participating in the advanced seminar in Economics, the module proseminar in Economics must be passed.
- For participating in the advanced seminar in Business Administration, the passed module Business Administration II is required.
Elective modules
For the elective modules, students can choose among courses in Economics which are mentioned within the qualitative requirements of the LPO I (topics not thought otherwise are particularly Government activity and Social Security, International Trade, Money, Credit and Currency, Employment and Labor markets). Offered classes are:
- Monetary Economics (each winter term)
- Social Policy (each summer term)
- Economic Policy (each summer term)
All mentioned modules may be used for every of the three elective modules, but they can of course only be used once.
Required courses alongside the subjects
In addition to the classes within the chosen subjects, students must meet the follow requirements:
- 35 ECTS credits from education science/psychology
- 10 ECTS credits from practical experiences
- 5 ECTS credits from free elective modules (all other classes at the Institute of Economics with examination)
